“ClickPost helped us create a return experience that fit our business instead of forcing us to fit the platform. They customized our workflows without additional costs or developer support. The automation they built for our returns, freed up 5 hours a week.”

The Challenge

GOPURE faced two compounding problems that their previous platform could not solve.

1. Majority of returns required manual review before approval

A high proportion of GOPURE's returns came from recurring orders, each requiring manual review before it could be processed. One person was spending close to an hour every day on this alone.

2. Their Existing Returns Platform Was Too Rigid to Customise

GOPURE needed greater control over the returns experience for their customers. They wanted the flexibility to test different return journeys and offers to identify what delivered the best customer experience while reducing returns. Their previous platform made it difficult to configure these workflows seamlessly across different return reasons, subscription orders, and one-time purchases, limiting their ability to optimize the experience. Customizing the workflow required custom build out and came with a cost

Manual operational overhead kept growing with no automation on the roadmap

Before: ClickPost

After: ClickPost

Rigid priority flows - offers couldn’t be reliably configured

Fully customisable return portal logic

Manual approval required on majority of returns

Automated subscription detection and cancellation

~2 hours/day of manual returns work

~1 hour/day - 50% time reduction

High cost for custom built workflows

Lower cost and responsive, hands-on support

No automation roadmap

Custom automation built to GOPURE’s exact workflow

The ClickPost Solution

ClickPost worked with GOPURE to build a returns experience tailored to their workflow - not a generic out-of-the-box configuration. The implementation went live quickly with no IT team required.

Subscription Return Automation

ClickPost built a custom automation that identifies returns from customers who no longer wanted to continue their subscription and automatically cancels any active subscriptions. What previously required hours of daily manual review now happens seamlessly without human intervention.

Custom Return Portal Logic

Where their previous platform couldn't be configured to spec, ClickPost built the return experience GoPure asked for:

  • "Keep the product" offers displayed consistently at the right point in the flow
  • Offer visibility configured by product type and return reason
  • Custom business rules built specifically around GOPURE’s subscription model

Responsive, Hands-On Product Development

GoPure specifically cited ClickPost product team’s proactiveness as a material differentiator from their Loop Returns experience - responsive, solution-oriented, and willing to build what the business needed.
